Welcome to the Danish Concrete Society

Danish Concrete Society (DBF), a technical society under the Danish Society of Engineers (IDA), aims to increase and disseminate the knowledge of concrete properties, production and use.

DBF has more than 1,460 individual members and more than 100 corporate members. The individual members of DBF represent a broad range of different positions in all segments of the business area and the company members represent a wide variety of the concrete industry.  Therefore, DBF is the place where all those with an interest in concrete can meet, get new information and discuss open-minded.

DBF ensure this in many ways. Every year DBF arrange a large number of meetings in Copenhagen and around the country, and DBF organizes the annual Concrete Day and occasionally also international conferences.

DBF is co-editor of the Danish magazine 'Beton' (Eng: Concrete).

Purpose

The aim of DBF is to increase and disseminate the knowledge of concrete properties, production and use, and to work for its members with respect to in-service training and competence competence enhancement. This purpose is pursued in collaboration with other scientific societies and regional groups in IDA and also other institutions, companies and individuals who are related to the association's Work.
